Season 5
As the season begins on 1-3-2006 with the episode entitled ‘My Intern’s Eyes’, Carla wants to have a baby with her hubby Turk who finally agrees. Dr. Elliot Reid starts fellowship at some other hospital. J.D. continues to be tormented by Sacred Heart’s taciturn Janitor. Things are not going well with Dr. Perry Cox who’s unhappier when JD asserts upon treating him like a role model. This season included some guest stars such as Jason Bateman as a stranger who loves cigarettes, Cheryl Hines as Cox’s sis Paige; Mandy Moore as JD’s latest date; and Elizabeth Banks as Dr. Kim Briggs who takes JD’s heart. On the season finale, JD plans a date with Kim but Elliot keeps to getting in the way. Some one announces a very surprising pregnancy. Season finale ‘My Transition (1) was aired on 5-16-2006.

JD asks Dr. Cox out for lunch and both run into annoying former suicidal patient Jill Tracy. Carla and Elliot discover that Todd hasn’t slept with anyone.
